Delta Electronics said sales in June rose 5.5% sequentially and 5% year on year to NT$17 billion ($546.2 million), taking sales to date to NT$91.9 billion ($2.9 billion), up 1.4% from the corresponding period of last year.
Apple is ‘cautious’ about placing supply chain orders for the long-rumoured 12.9″ iPad Pro, say sources in Taiwan. The tablet is expected to be launched in late September, but Apple’s caution means that initial shipment volumes will be ‘much lower’ than previous expectations.
