A Chinese website, IT Home, calims that the new Windows 10 handsets will be called the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. Resolutions will be FullHD according to the site, with 5.2″ and 5.7″ diagonals respectively. The phones are expected to have USB Type-C and removable batteries and have metal frames.

Analogue switch-off began in Kampala, Uganda on 17th June, since when 700,000 DTT receivers have been sold. The ASO process will continue in two phases, ending on 31st August. There are an estimated four million TV sets in Uganda.
The Mexican government is to open a tender for DTT receivers to be provided to low-income households in the country, in readiness for analogue switch-off. Mexico has committed to distributing 10 million DTT receivers by the end of 2015, of which four million have already been distributed.
Brazil’s Ministry of Communications has updated the country’s analogue switch-off timetable and says that ASO in the cities of Abadiania, Alexania and Cabeceira Grande will be delayed. The country is expected to complete ASO by 2018.
