LG Display has updated its OLED TV sales forecast and revealed this is in its quarterly presentation. The company now expects to see between 400,000 and 500,000 TVs in 2015, and 1 million in 2016. Asian sources say that JOLED is to begin test operations of a new OLED manufacturing facility next spring. Mass production, of panels between 10″ and 30″, will begin in 2018 or 2020. Around €150 million will be invested in the new plant.
