Dyoptyka Begins Asset Sell-Off

uDM2 deformable mirror module in an active state. Deformable area elliptical in shape with major axes 3mm and 4.5mm in length. Highly randomised surface deformations created at up to 500kHz. Closed loop control system maintains consistent behaviour.Dyoptyka has formally posted a message noting that it is going out of business. The company was a pioneer in speckle reduction for laser displays. Applications for Dyoptyka’s technology included front- and back-lit direct-view displays; projection displays; target illumination; and sensor calibration.

However, the company struggled to achieve the sales volume required to justify further investment. With this in mind, the Board has decided to begin the disposal of assets preceding an orderly transfer, or closure, of the company.

Parties interested in acquiring Dyoptyka’s IP, or the company itself, can contact chairman Ian Cahill on [email protected].
