SlingTV said that it is now supporting Google’s Chromecast as well as Android and iOS. New buyers of the service will get a free Chromecast dongle, or a free trial of “Best of Live TV” package. The company said that support for the Chromecast app on Windows and Mac PCs will come later.

MIT researchers, together with a team from the Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI), have developed a system that automatically converts 2D video of football games to 3D.
