Allegro DVT has launched HEVC Scalability Extension (SHVC) test suites. These will help manufacturers developing SHVC-compliant decoders to validate their SHVC conformance. The suites use the HEVC Scalable Main 10 Profile, and comprise multiple test sets to check spatial, bit-depth, colour gamut scalability and various combinations of these features.
