Himax has reported two design wins for its LCoS microdisplays, which are being supplied to “two brand-leading VR companies”. Which companies are using the LCoS devices is not known, although speculation suggests Oculus VR, for the Rift, Microsoft, for the Hololens and Google, for an enterprise-focus Google Glass.
