Mediatek’s December sales totalled NT$18.5 billion ($552.2 million) – an 11.6% MoM fall, but rising 8.5% YoY. Early reports claim that Q4’15 total revenues reached NT$61.7 billion ($1.8 billion), beating guidance of NT$57 billion – NT$60.4 billion ($1.7 billion – $1.8 billion). Allegro DVT has launched HEVC Scalability Extension (SHVC) test suites. These will help manufacturers developing SHVC-compliant decoders to validate their SHVC conformance.
