Texas Instruments Result 27/04/2016

Texas Instruments reported Q1 2016 net profit of $668 million, up 2% YoY from $656 million. Turnover for the period was $3 billion, down 5% YoY from $3.1 billion. There was a decline of 5% across all segments of operations, with the exception of Silicon Valley Analog, on account of weakness in personal electronics.

Infomitv‘s Multiscreen Index shows minor subscriber gains for US pay-TV providers in Q1, with an overall net gain of 33,000 customers.
