Nokia reported its first financial result as part of a combined entity with Alcatel Lucent, with a net loss of €513 million ($583 million). Turnover was €5.6 billion ($6.3 billion). Turnover from Europe, the biggest market segment for Nokia, fell 17% while Alcatel Lucent’s mobile network business fell 28%.
