NEC has designed its latest wide-screen monitor specifically for business users. The E245WMi features an optional mounting plate on the rear, to hold a client device. Adjustable in terms of height, tilt, swivel and pivot, the display should also be comfortable to use for extended periods.
An ambient light sensor, off timer and Eco Mode both help users’ eyes and keep costs down. NEC’s NaViSet Administrator 2 software is built in, enabling easy management of large display installations.
The 24″ display features an IPS panel with 1920 x 1200 resolution, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio , 6ms response time and 178° viewing angles. Brightness is 250 cd/m². DisplayPort, DVI-D and VGA ports are built in, with two 1W speakers.
NEC will begin to sell the E245WMi this month, with a three-year warranty, for $320.
