Kyocera is to acquire 100% of the shares of Melles Griot KK, a Japan-based manufacturer of optical components. Melles Griot is currently a subsidiary of US-based IDEX Corp. The company will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kyocera on the 1st September.
