The Benelux market has continued to perform well so far this year. The January/February Index has risen since the November/December poll, up 6.03 points to 67.39.
Benelux market stakeholders have a positive outlook for the next six months, following a ‘satisfying’ 2014. 26.1% said that the outlook was ‘satisfactory’ and 73.9% said that it was ‘good’. The year was stable – despite the volatile general economic and political situation in Europe – with a very successful Q4.
Retail, specifically point of sale, will be important to the signage industry this year, as will ‘smart’ solutions. Key words will be omni-channel, mobile integration, interactivity and outdoor/high bright displays. Entry-level products catering to small- and medium-sized businesses will have a strong impact on revenues.
