Poland’s DBCI continued to rise in January/February. The index climbed 9.1 points from the November/December poll, to 31.85. According to OVAB, the market is classified as ‘slightly positive’.
Europe-wide trends are also followed in Poland: retail is the main vertical market and point-of-sale will be important in the near future, providing a growth area; omni-channel, mobile integration, outdoor and high brightness will be key.
63.6% of companies surveyed are satisfied with their current business and 27.3% rate is as ‘good’; only 9.1% said that their business was poor, a significant fall from 27.3% in the previous survey. Only summer 2014 saw a lower figure.
The outlook for the next six months is positive; no companies expect the situation to get worse; 54.5% expect it to remain the same and 45.5% expect an improvement.
