Optoma has launched a new flagship 10,000-lumen professional installation laser DLP projector, the ZU1050 with 10,000 Ansi lumens and an ANSI contrast ratio of 250:1 (1,200 full on/off, 6,000:1 dynamic).
Intended for simulation, live events, museums and lecture theatres, the WUXGA (1920 x 1200) projector features MultiColor Laser (MCL) technology (with red and blue lasers) and is in the DuraCore range which combines longer-lifetime light source and an independent IP rated dust certification. It has a 20,000 hour life. The ZU1050 offers seven interchangeable lens options for maximum flexibility (0.36:1 to 5.5:1 throw ratio + Dome lens option – BX-CTADome for single-projector dome applications)
For large-scale projection or stacking, the ZU1050 features built-in edge-blending and warping. It also offers portrait and 360º orientation support and can be used 24/7. Additionally, an HDBaseT input is included along with HDMI, VGA YPbPr/RGB and DVI-D. Loopthrough is provided for VGA, 3D Sync and HDMI. Noise level is 35dB.
