Optoma has a new DLP projector, the HD39Darbee that is for home cinema and gaming. The company claims good gaming response with an input lag of 16ms.
Resolution is FullHD with 3,500 Ansi lumens of output and a Darbee processor to improve the video and the unit uses a single 0.65” 1080p DC3 DMD chip. The projector has a Rec. 709 mode for accurate colour and contrast is rated at 32,000:1. The lens throw ratio is 1.4-2.24:1 with a 1.6X zoom that has vertical shift. There is a single 10W speaker and inputs include dual HDMI with MHL.
Weight is less than 3Kg and dimensions are 314 x 224 x 114mm (W x D x H), Lamp power is 260W and lifetime is from 4,000 to 15,000 hours depending on the brightness mode used. Noise is 29dB.
