Slingbox has announced the M2 box, an upgrade on the M1, launched last year. Pricing has risen from $150 to $200 for the box, which allows re-transmission of TV content from an STB to an internet-connected device, but for owners of the M2, client software will be free, while for the M1, there was a charge of $15 per device. Clients can range from phones to Mac/PCs.
