Cineworld has partnered with Christie to supply display technology for its new 12-screen multiplex in Bracknell.
Eight CP2220 and four CP2230 projectors have been installed in the brand new cinema, as part of Bracknell’s redevelopment. The CP2220 model packs 22,000 lumens and a 3kW lamp, while the premium CP2230 model is claimed to be “the brightest digital cinema projector available”, delivering 33,000 lumens.
Cineworld Bracknell opened on Friday 15th September, with the movie adaptation of Stephen King’s IT, shown in the multiplex’s 4DX screen, which features moving seats and environmental effects including wind, fog, lightning, bubbles, water, rain and scents.
