What They Say
The University of Michigan reported work to develop a new OLED electrode structure, based on a 5 nanometer layer of silver on top of a copper seed layer that is reported to allow 20% more light to be emitted from the display by minimising light-guiding.
The group said that the material can be used on existing production flows and equipment.
What We Think
I’m planning a DD to cover this in more detail, but thought this was a really interesting development. (BR)
