We noted a number of articles appearing that talked about developments in the Moscow State University of Ferroelectric LC materials which can be used in frame-sequential LCDs, which would have the advantage of not needing colour filters. However, this concept has been under development for many years, and the articles did not highlight any particular breakthrough or technology development.
