US OLED material developer, Molecular Glasses, has said that its phosphorescent host material has been shown to raise OLED lifetime by up to 1,500%. The material has an external quantum efficiency of 20%, and ‘minimal’ luminance roll-off. The firm did not name the host its material was being compared to, only saying that it was a ‘state-of-the-art phosphorescent host mCBP’.
