Insolvency administrators handling German TV manufacturer Metz say that they have succeeded in keeping the business operating since Metz filed for insolvency last November (Metz Files for Insolvency).
A restructuring plan has been agreed which will see around 110 of the firm’s 540-strong employee base being offered alternative employment for six months while administrators and Metz executives work to find a new investor. Production, sales and service at Metz have continued since November 2014, though the company is still in debt. A bankruptcy court hearing is scheduled to take place in February but Metz remains confident that it will be able to secure a new investor.
