Metz Files for Insolvency

German premium TV company Metz has filed for insolvency. The company said that around 540 jobs will be affected, though production and customer services will continue for the time being.

The German court has appointed Joachim Exner as insolvency administrator, who co-managed the insolvency of Germany’s other premium TV company, Loewe, last year (Display Monitor Vol 20 No 28).
