EAO of Switzerland, which specialises in HMI controls for industrial and automotive applications, has launched a rotary encoder from Grayhill Inc that includes an LCD touch display. The encoder can be used where fine control is needed and the LCD can be programmed to show that the control is being used for different functions. It is also useful in applications needing multi-language support.
The touch display supports tap, swipe and rotation gestures and works on the CAN-bus.
