James Vickerage.Maverick AV Solutions has appointed James Vickerage as its new Business Unit Director to spearhead its UK team. Bringing 20 years experience in the AV industry to the role, James joins the Maverick team from ScanSource Communications, where he delivered a significant re-organisation of the company structure, while running a team of country managers and VPs across Europe. He also worked with major vendors and customers to develop sales and go-to-market strategies.
Joan Axia.Also new to the company in a secondment role from the company’s Spanish division, is Joan Axia, who joins as UK Commercial Director to support the next phase of growth for Maverick in the UK. Having spent the last seven years as a director of Maverick Iberia, he brings over 12 years of experience in AV business and product development to the UK team, with a specialty in signage and collaboration. His focus will be to help build Maverick’s multi-vendor solutions and programs in line with the AV channel’s evolving requirements.
