Leyard Adds Colour Control from Portrait Display

Leyard has introduced two new video wall monitors under the Planar Clarity Matrix name. The new MX46HDX and LX55HDX models join the MX55HDX, which also has a tiled bezel width of 1.7 mm and started shipping last year, as we reported from Infocomm.MX series walls have 800 cd/m² of output, while LX products produce 500 cd/m². Contrast is 4,000:1 and resolution is FullHD.

The new monitors have an optional bonded front panel and ship with a new Clarity Matrix ColorBalance colour matching tool, developed with Portrait Displays. The application uses a tri-stimulus meter and has an optimised workflow to help with faster set-up, calibration and validation.

Planar’s existing EasyAxis Mounting system means that the monitors can meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for protruding objects.

The new monitors will ship this month.
