Sky in the UK has created a 12 minute VR film of the world heavyweight boxing match between Vitali Klitschko and Anthony Joshua. The film was captured with eight special VR cameras by Sky’s own Sky VR Studios.
The movie can be downloaded for Android or iOS and watched on a Cardboard-style headset or in 2D on a mobile display. Headsets including the Gear VR, Oculus Rift or DayDream are also usable.
Analyst Comment
Sky is regularly advertising its VR developments on its TV channels and has been an early adopter of many new technologies including 3D. (BR)
