Inview will use the Access NetFront HTML5 browser in its middleware for cost-effective STBs. Inview believes that this will enhance its ability to rapidly implement custom interactive services and smart applications to its customers. Inview will be deploying the combined platform with customers in the New Year.
The company quoted IHS Markit data that 88.6 million low cost STBs were sold in Q1 2016, with strong adoption in China, India and Latin America.
