iBT Claims High Growth

iBoardTouch (iBT) was showing its full range of 65″ to 98″ interactive displays – the 75″ and 98″ UltraHD models having recently been released. Unusually, the company has a high end 70″ procap system that can support 32 touch points and is fitted with anti-glare etched cover glass and is called the CD70. The product is aimed at corporates and costs £7,900. It includes a Wacom digitiser to work with an active EMR pen to allow pressure sensitivity. Shipping is expected to start in Q2 and, by then, a newer version may use edge-to-edge technology. iBT has options to add a ProPack to its displays to integrate a PC module. The firm was highlighting the power costs for a projector + IWB + PC compared to its integrated solution and the associated costs.

iBT products are sold in Europe through Ingram Micro, and we heard that the brand has the “second highest growth” among Ingram’s vendors. Later, the company wants to extend this deal to the US as well.

The firm has its own videoconferencing system and each board is supplied with a webcam to allow full collaboration. iBT has its own Oracle and cloud-based collaboration system and this was a factor in a recent win of a contract for 47 systems for the UK’s National Health Service, South, contract. To support medical applications, iBT has support for the Dicom standard in its displays, an unusual feature in this type of display.

The company also has a range of interactive tables.
