Humax is Open to UltraHD STB

Humax may launch a version of its Freeview Play box that can support UltraHD streaming, once it adopts new chipsets. Commercial director Graham North said, at the launch of Humax’s new FVP-4000T box, that the prospect of UltraHD broadcast content is “slight”, but streamed content is more likely. Freeview Play specifications will require HEVC support from next year.
