HiSense has officially revealed its next dual-screen smartphone, the A6. The device incorporates a 6.01″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 and 402 ppi but, similar to the company’s A2 handset that came out earlier this year, it also features a 5.61″ monochrome e-ink screen with a resolution of 1400 × 720 and 287 ppi on the back, which can also be used to mirror the main display.
The A6 will run Android 8.1, powered by a Snapdragon 660 chipset, and it will include up to 6GB RAM, up to 128GB internal storage (expandable by a further 256GB via a micro SD card slot), a 3,300mAH battery and USB-C connectivity. It is scheduled for release in November 2018 and will retail at 3,999 Chinese yuan (about $580).
