We reported that Hisense would use the Seraphic HTML 5 browser last summer and now the firm has said that it will use the technology to ship a YouTube-certified smart TV, globally.
Xiaofeng Lin, CPO of Hisense’s overseas market, stated, “Thanks to SERAPHIC, our professional partner in the long run, Hisense is now able to pass the highly challenging YouTube TV certification and launch the products in shorter time to market. The new YouTube TV certified products are firstly launched in Africa and South Asia. Later on, we will deliver the products to Middle East and Eastern European countries.”
