HDTV Supply Enables HDCP Conversion

HDTV Supply has created a converter that changes HDCP 2.2 signals into HDCP 1.4. Each new revision of HDCP requires new hardware, so this converter enables HDCP 2.2 sources to be shown on an HDCP 1.4-compliant display.

The Wolfpack converter sits between an HDCP 2.2 UltraHD source and HDCP 1.4 display. Protected content can then pass through the connection. For example, the converter can be used with the Roku 4 and Sony FMP-X10 media player, as well as Nvidia Shield devices.

HDTV Supply is pricing the converter at $350 (although is currently running a deal, selling it for $150).
