The HDMI Forum quietly released an update to the HDMI 2.0 standard – HDMI 2.0b – earlier this year, although we did not cover it at the time.
HDMI 2.0a (HDR Formats Come to HDMI) added support for HDR to the HDMI standard. v2.0b, however, was not a major release, but just a minor editorial update and clarification. It is functionally the same as v2.0a.
