The HDMI Forum has released v2.0a of the HDMI specification, which is available to HDMI 2.0 Adopters through the HDMI Adopter Extranet.

There are a number of different HDR technologies available and the CEA-861.3 is a standard that allows the transmission of SMPTE ST 2084 HDR EOTF and SMPTE ST 2086 Mastering Display Metadata, but also allows for the provision of alternative schemes. ST2084 is the EOTF that was developed by Dolby. (BR)
