Riverside, a £17 million ($22.6 million) care home, has opened in Dalmarnock, Glasgow, featuring an AV system from SSUK and LG.
Each of the facility’s 120 bedrooms includes a 43″ LG SM5KB display, allowing residents to view live footage of communal and outdoor areas via the CCTV network, “to allow residents to stay in their rooms without feeling excluded”, according to the press release.
The home’s communal sitting rooms are fitted with 55″ LG UH5B Ultra HD displays, while an NEC large-format display is installed in the meeting room, with presentation facilities and a connection to the networked AV system.
A home cinema system is installed on the ground floor, with a 5000-lumen NEC P501X projector and screen, both featuring remote-powered retraction.
