Several German companies have organised a joint initiative for the introduction of the DVB-T2 platform in the country. Public broadcasters ARD and ZDF, with commercial broadcasters RTL and ProSieben Sat.1, industry association VPRT and media authorities are part of the group. They have created a new logo to indicate which devices can receive -T2 signals. Devices with the logo will be compliant with the minimum technical specifications set by industry association Deutsche TV-Platform.
