What They Say
Gartner forecast that the smartphone market will grow 11.4% to 1.5 billion units in 2021 with 5G penetration getting to 35%. Mature Asia Pacific, Western Europe, and Latin America are expected to exhibit the strongest growth between 2020 and 2021.
What We Think
It would be good to see the market recover again. The trend to 5G is a big help to those selling AMOLEDs because of the need for more space being needed for the 5G radios. (BR)
