TP Vision’s new partnership with GameFly is now live in 14 countries across Europe. Through this partnership, owners of select 2015 and 2016 Philips Android-based smart TVs will be able to stream games from GameFly’s servers, without needing a console. Philips has initially announced 21 compatible TV model ranges from the 5500 series upwards with a further 16 model ranges to be updated, via firmware, to offer the GameFly Streaming app and service during 2016.
The service (€10 per month) will stream in 1920 x 1080 with an 8Mbps connection or 1280 x 720 with a 4Mbps connection. There are 60 games initially available.
