Humax has released a new Freeview Play Recorder, the FVP-5000T for the UK market. Features in the new FullHD box include:
- Integrated Wi-Fi connectivity
- Three digital tuners: record up to four programmes at once while watching another
- Humax ‘Top Picks’ feature for popular content access, recommendations and planning
- Intelligent Smart Search discovers content from all sources: live TV, recordings, catch up, on demand and streamed services such as YouTube
- Brand new Humax App for iOS and Android for remote planning and programming
- Remote control with ‘hot keys’ for Freeview Play and On Demand plus dedicated Netflix button
- Eight day electronic programme guide and seven day catch up service
- 500GB, 1TB and 2TB options for up to 250, 500 and 1,000 hours of recording capacity
For owners of the Humax EYE HD Cloud Camera, live or recorded footage from the home security monitoring camera can be watched on a TV set via the FVP-5000T, through the dedicated, built-in Humax EYE app. The FVP-5000T can also be paired with the H3 Smart Media Player as a ‘buddy box’, for multi-room TV with no subscriptions or fees.
Prices start from £229 and shipments will start in the second week of October
