EKT Adds Qarva Client for Fast IP Switching

EKT, which develops STBs and SmartTV solutions (ETK Integrates STB to Smart TVs), is working with Qarva to implement FastSwitch technology from Qarva which is said to accelerate the channel change time for IPTV services to 0.2-0.5 seconds. Traditionally, this time is from 2 to 5 seconds. Qarva also has Packet Loss Recovery technology to improve the quality of service (QoS).
