Eizo has released the CuratOR LX550W monitor for Interventional Radiology and Endoscopy. The 55″ UltraHD monitor uses an IPS panel for consistent viewing angle performance and has 400 cd/m² of output (recommended for calibration) or 700 cd/m² (typical) and supports Dicom Part 14 for radiology. Contrast is 1450:1 and response times 10ms (black to white) and 9ms (white to black). Inputs include DVI-D 24 pin (dual link) x 2, DP1.1 x 2, HDMI (DVI-Signal single link) x 2 and there is an integrated USB hub (1 upstream, two downstream).

Features include PIP to allow multiple inputs to be displayed. The monitor will be launched in Europe at the Medica show in from November 13 to 16 in Düsseldorf, Germany (Eizo Gets Ready for Medica)
