Eiki has a new high brightness (8,000 ANSI lumen) single chip DLP projector, the EIP-UHS100 which is due to start shipping immediately. Resolution is 1920 x 1200 and the contrast ratio is quoted as 2400:1. The projector is intended for professional applications and has 3G HD-SDI and HDMI inputs as well as analogue connections.
The projector is available with a range of lenses with throw ratios from 0.76 to 8.25:1 and the company highlighted how the 0.76-0.93 short throw lens could be used in conjunction with the lens shift to support very compact installations. Features include integrated blending and warping capabilities.
Pricing is $16,995.
