EclairColor Adds First DLP Projector to Its Range of Supported Models

For the first time, Ymagis’ EclairColor HDR system has been paired with Barco’s DLP Cinema Laser projectors and installed at the Gaumont Pathé Opera theatre in Paris, France. Previously, EclairColor HDR was exclusive to Sony’s LCoS DCi projectors, as DLP systems couldn’t provide the level of contrast required.

Barco’s DP4K-40LHC projector supports resolutions up to 4,096 × 2,160, with a contrast ratio of 6,000:1 and a brightness of 38,000 lumens.
