This week we are highlighting LCD monitors in the 26″ Full HD category, covering models with resolution of 1920 x 1080 and sizes from 24.5″ wide to 28.5″ wide. There are 15 brands featured in the advertising with AOC, Acer and Iiyama the top three advertised brands across all three countries. In France, Iiyama is top, followed by Samsung in second and Asus in third. In Germany, Samsung is top followed by Asus and Iyama in joint second, and in the UK, AOC is top followed by Acer and Iiyama.
Over the three countries, Asus leads with the VS278Q followed by AOC’s MX279H in second and Iiyama’s ProLite E2273HDS in third. In France, Samsung’s S27D390H is top followed by Iiyama’s ProLite E2773HDS, LG’s 27MP35HQ-B, AOC’s MX279H and Iiyama’s ProLite GB2773HS in joint second. In Germany, Asus takes the top position with the VS278Q with Samsung’s S27D391H and BenQ’s GW2760HM in joint second. In the UK, the three leading models were AOC’s e2752Vq, AOC’s i2769VM and Iiyama’s ProLite X2783HSU-B1.
The average dollar price was down 14% year on year over the three countries. The average dollar price in France was down 20% YoY, while in Germany it went down by 20% and in the UK it was down 11%. The minimum price in December for a 26″ Full HD LCD monitor was $187.16 excluding tax.
