This week we are highlighting LCD Public Displays in the 46″ Full HD category covering sizes 43.5″ to 48.49″ with 1920 x 1080 resolution. There are 10 brands featured in the advertising. LG is at the top of the PageShare for the combined three major countries, NEC Displays is second and Samsung is third. The ranking in the same in Germany. In France, Samsung leads followed by NEC Displays in second and ViewSonic in third and in the UK, NEC Displays is top with Samsung in second and Philips in third.
Over the three countries, NEC Displays takes the top two positions with the MultiSync V463 and the MultiSync E464 followed by Samsung’s ED46C in third. In France, Samsung’s ME46C is top with NEC Displays taking the next two positions with the MultiSync V463 and the MultiSync E464. In Germany, Samsung’s ME46C leads with NEC Displays’ MultiSync V463 in second and ViewSonic’s CDE4600-L in third. In the UK, the three leading models were NEC Displays’ MultiSync E464, NEC Displays’ MultiSync V463 and Samsung’s ED46D.
The average dollar price was down 20% year on year over the three countries. The average dollar price in France was down 36% YoY, while in Germany it was down 20% and in the UK it was down 14%. The minimum price in March for a 46″ Full HD LCD Public Display was $645.51 excluding tax.
