CPT’s Monthly Sales Down 9%

Chunghwa Picture Tubes’ (CPT) sales in November were down 1% sequentially and 9.2% from November 2013 at NT$4.9 billion ($156.8 million), bringing sales so far in 2014 to NT$51.9 billion ($1.6 billion), 3.4% lower year on year. CPT’s November shipments of small and medium panels totalled 41.8 million, down 3.7% month on month and 6.6% YoY, bringing the total number of units shipped so far this year to 419.8 million. Large panel shipments increased 63.8% MoM and 15.2% YoY to 190,000 units.
