Taiwanese DLP projector ODM Coretronic (and the largest of them) has acquired UK image processing technology company Calibre. Coretronic says that this will add to its in-house R&D capability. Calibre UK will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Coretronic, with the former CEO of Calibre, Tim Brooksbank, continuing to lead as managing director.
