Transvideo International showed off a new 5” StarliteHD 16/9 smartphone-size professional monitor. This 3G HD SDI hi-resolution monitor weighs only 7 oz while offering all desirable functions an Operator or Focus Puller may need.
What is nice about this monitor is the removable 3x magnifying eyepiece that can be mounted over the display. This helps deliver better clarity for the Focus Puller than direct access to the camera’s eyepiece.
This is a fully-functional professional monitor with the ability to display waveform, histogram and vectorscope data with less than 1 frame in delay. The monitor even generates camera and lens reports.
The interface to the menu items is tucked into a corner of the display for easy access.
