Apple has filed a suit against Qualcomm that claims that the firm’s policy of charging royalties based on the value of the item being sold is unfair. Apple believes that this penalises its own development of value-added features and wants to pay a fixed fee based on the technology. The company also said that Qualcomm’s agreements are unfair. Qualcomm fired back in reply and accused Apple of ‘intentionally mischaracterized [our] agreements and negotiations’.
